Dream It, Be It
Career Support For Girls
Inspiring Confidence. Shaping Futures.

Career Support for Girls is a powerful program designed to equip girls with the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to reach their education and career goals. By empowering them at a pivotal stage in life, the program helps break cycles of poverty, violence, and instability—creating brighter futures for the next generation of women.

While all girls face barriers based on gender, we focus our efforts on those who experience additional challenges, such as poverty, unstable home environments, foster care, or teenage motherhood. Soroptimist clubs deliver the program through engaging workshops and small-group sessions, creating safe, supportive spaces where girls can explore career options, set goals, and build the skills they need to succeed.

By reaching girls early, we not only support their immediate well-being but also lay the foundation for long-term success. Dream It, Be It helps girls discover their potential and realize their dreams, empowering them to grow into confident, capable women who can shape their own futures.

SOROPTIMIST CLUB GRANTS:

Is your club planning a Dream It, Be It program? Or some other program that educates women or girls? The Soroptimist Foundation of Canada offers Club Grants of up to $1,000 to Canadian Soroptimist clubs that hold educational programs for women and/or girls, aiming to help them reach their full potential by developing their abilities and increasing their awareness. The exact number of grants and the amounts for each grant will be determined annually by the Board of Directors of the Foundation, depending on the funds available in that year. However, we cannot award you a Club Grant unless you submit an application.
